More Help For Haiti

February 9, 2010

Legionnaires from the Randolph American Legion Post 181 cleaned out their attic, so-to-speak, of 70 crutches and walkers that will start their journey to Haiti via way of Jamestown's Allied Alarm and on to Jamestown Container where volunteers will box and send them then to a staging area in Muncie, Ind. where they will be loaded on a C-130 cargo plane that will take them to the needy. Adding to Randolph's collection are legionnaires from the Celeron American Legion and many private contributors. Photo shows, from left, Charles Lindberg and daughter Mary Jo, from Randolph's Allegany Region Mission, and Mike Lienhart, Legion Steward.
