David Lawrence Lupica born July 17, 1958, passed away due to an automobile accident on Jan. 20, 2010. in Las Vegas, Nev. He was born in Jamestown, N.Y., to Samuel David Lupica and Sheila Scott Lupica Zappella Carlson.
He attended Ss. Peter & Paul Parochial and public schools, and in his adult life, he resided in California, Buffalo, N.Y., and recently in Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. Lupica was a pipefitter and member of the United Association of Plumbers & Pipefitters. He was most recently employed as a technician with Acrylic Aquarium Tank Manufactuing located in Las Vegas, Nev.
Surviving are his mother of Westfield; his stepmother, Betty Lupica of Orchard Park, N.Y.; brothers: Daniel Lupica of Springville, N.Y., Frank Zappella of Erie, Pa., and John Zappella of Westfield; sisters: Samantha West of Derby, N.Y., and Michele Powers of Mayville. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as a favorite uncle, George Shagla of Jamestown.
Mr. Lupica was preceded in death by his father; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
A memorial service will be held in Jamestown and scheduled at a future date.
