CLVCS Teachers Spread Cheer At Trading Post South

January 19, 2010
By Arvilla Pritchard, editorial@post-journal.com

Ms Sherri Szczepanski, a Cattaraugus-Little Valley faculty member and CLVCS Teachers' Association President Fred Christopher, recently presented Trading Post South Manager Elizabeth O'Neill with a check for $110.00. With the help of dedicated 'Post' volunteer Tyler Felt, the teachers also lugged in several boxes filled to overflowing with toys and non-perishable foodstuffs.

An ecstatic O'Neill accepted the contributions on behalf of the 'Post', a nonprofit organization that is helping make Christmas a little merrier for many families in and around Cattaraugus. She thanked the teachers for helping to accomplish this goal.

The faculty members explained how their association's annual Christmas party turned into a yuletide windfall for Trading Post South. It seems that the teachers, filled with an abundance of true Christmas spirit, as well as a deep admiration for the Trading Post's altruistic mission, decided to use the occasion to put together a meaningful donation. They told O'Neill they knew she would use the contributions to the greatest effect possible.
