LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE
BUSTI - Ryan C. Spriggs, 25, Ashville, was charged with aggravated harassment after allegedly leaving undesired messages on another's answering machine. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail.
ELLICOTT POLICE
ELLICOTT - Terrence A. Mussal, 29, 151 Main St., Randolph, was charged with driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child, child younger than 4-years-old without proper restraint, and inadequate turn signal after police stopped his vehicle at 2:50 a.m. Dec. 26 in Falconer. Police report a two-year-old child was in the arms of passenger, Destiny J. Franze, who was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Police said New York recently passed Leandra's Law, which makes operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a child 15-years-old or younger a felony. Both Musall and Franze were sent to Chautauqua County Jail.
ELLICOTT - Brandon R. Hogg, 20, 44 West Summitt Ave., Lakewood, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was allegedly passed out behind the wheel of a running car in the Wegman's parking lot on Fairmount Avenue. After investigation, police said, they found Hogg's driving privileges were suspended and he was allegedly found to have marijuana. He will answer the charges at a later date in court.
JAMESTOWN POLICE
Audie L. Dickerson, 341 Willard St., was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree aggravated harassment at 8:45 a.m. Thursday after allegedly violating a court order in order to call an ex-girlfriend. He was sent to city jail.
Derrick L. Vanhorn, 40, Forest Avenue, Jamestown, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after police responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident at 11:10 a.m. Thursday on Foote Avenue in front of WCA Hospital. Police said a vehicle driven by Louis Dimas was stopped at the cross walk when a vehicle driven by Vanhorn collided with the Dimas vehicle, hit a curb and a utility pole guide wire before coming to rest on a chain link fence. It was determined the brakes failed on the Vanhorn vehicle but police found Vanhorn's license was suspended and there were two outstanding warrants for him. He was taken to city jail. Dimas suffered minor injuries.
