JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Rebecca L. White, of 10 Columbia Ave., Jamestown, was charged with second-degree menacing, third-degree criminal mischief and reckless endangerment at 7 p.m. Monday after a domestic dispute at a Hazeltine Avenue home. Police said she allegedly broke another person's car windows with a tire iron, threatened the vehicle's owner and allegedly tried to hit him with her vehicle. She turned herself into police and was held at the city jail awaiting arraignment.
Jade M. Shirley, 19, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and cited for second-degree harassment Tuesday after police were called to a Charles Street home for a possible fight in progress. Police said around 12:10 p.m., they arrived and an investigation revealed that Shirley allegedly tried to force her way into the resident's home and an argument turned physical. Shirley allegedly entered the house and injured the resident. She was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT
EAST OTTO - Justin P. Bertino, 25, 10280 Meyers Road, was charged with second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child on Dec. 18 after a 12:40 p.m. incident where he allegedly struck a 2-year-old child in the face, breaking his nose. He was taken into custody, arraigned in Conewango Town Court and sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail where he is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail. He will return to court later.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE
ELDRED - Warren-based state police reported a tractor trailer traveling west on Route 27 lost a tire which struck the residence of Robin D. Brown, 46, of Grand Valley, between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday. According to police, Brown's house sustained damage to the foundation and to an exterior wall.
