Woolley

Jared and Martha Woolley of Forestville, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house and buffet at the Sheridan Veterans of Foreign Wars. The celebration was hosted by their children and spouses: June and James Prince and Mark and Ann Woolley, all of Forestville, N.Y., and James and Ellen Woolley of Belfast, N.Y. They also have six grandchildren: Jared and Josh Prince and Jessica, Robert, Michael and Lynanne Woolley.

Woolley and the former Martha Radley were married Sept. 12, 1959, in Central Park Baptist Church, Buffalo, N.Y. The Rev. Eugene H. Drew performed the ceremony.

Woolley is a retired dairy and sheep farmer and school bus driver at Forestville Central School. He is a member of and president of the Forestville Volunteer Fire Department, the Chautauqua County Fair Board of Directors and the Chautauqua County 4-H Sheep Committee. He is also a member of the Hanover Lodge F&AM 152, the Forestville Chapter 247 OES, Villenova Grange and the State Grange Agriculture Committee. Mrs. Woolley is a retired dairy and sheep farmer, FBI former secretary, currently a substitute (social studies) teacher and bus monitor at Forestville Central School. She is a member of Forestville Methodist Church, Forestville OES 247, Canada Way OES 258 musician, Chautauqua County Fair Baked Goods Department Superintendent and Women's Committee member. She is also a member of the Villenova Grange and New York State Grange chaplain. They are both members and officers in the Chautauqua County Pomana Grange.
