The Rev. and Mrs. William Nicholson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 25, 2009. An earlier celebration was held with the congregation of the Mina Corners CMA Church. They have three children and nine grandchildren.
Nicholson and former Janet Oliver were married Nov. 25, 1969, at the Punxsutawney Pennsylvania First Baptist Church. The Rev. Joseph Atkinson performed the ceremony.
