Myles and Lois N. Swanson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 19, 2009. They are the parents of Dr. John T. Swanson, The American University in Cairo, Egypt, and Thomas M. Swanson of Orange City, Fla.
They were married Nov. 19, 1945, in the former Epworth Methodist Church. The Rev. Lund and the Rev. Bengsinger performed the ceremony.
Swanson was employed by Falconer Metal. Mrs. Swanson was employed by the former Malleable Iron and as a library aide at C.C. Ring School.
