PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. - Carol Frederickson, 82, of Northwest 101 Terrace, Pembroke Pines, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Memorial Hospital, Pembroke Pines, Fla., following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Buffalo on March 2, 1927, the daughter of the late Edward and Hilda (Kalle) Vosseler. She worked as a sales lady for Avon, attended Florida Bible Church, Miramar, Fla., and enjoyed baking & cake decorating.
Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Raul (Elaine) Baez of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Harold (Judy) Medina of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Mrs. Orlando (Rita) Davila of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico; a sister, Mrs. David (Joan) Schlosser of Rochester; and two brothers: Merold Vosseler of East Aurora and Edward Vosseler of West Seneca. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, the Rev. Marvin P. Frederickson, whom she married on Aug. 24, 1948, in East Aurora, and who died March 4, 1992.
Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main St., Forestville on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. from where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Rebecca Ward of the Forestville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Balltown Cemetery, town of Hanover.
