JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Bart M. Bartlett, no age or address given, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief Monday after police responded to a domestic dispute around 7:25 p.m. Police reported that Bartlett allegedly took another person's cell phone so police could not be called. He was charged and taken into custody on an outstanding city court warrant. Bartlett was held at the city jail awaiting arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

SHERIDAN A 17-year-old female from Sheridan was charged with third-degree menacing, second-degree harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana at 6:33 p.m. Monday after an alleged domestic dispute. She will answer the charges at a later date.

HARMONY -Paul M. Burger, 21, of Falconer was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment at 5:10 p.m. Monday after allegedly threatening a Niobe Road resident. He will answer the charge at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

CASSADAGA - Mark I. Roush, 48, of Depew was charged with first-offense DWI and cited for speeding, crossing the hazzard markings and failure to notify the DMV of an address change Sunday, after a traffic stop on Route 60 around 2 a.m. He was taken into custody, processed and released to a third party.

CARROLL - Darryl D. Cavness, 25, of Jamestown was charged with felony DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Saturday following a traffic stop on Pearl Street in Carroll around 8:30 a.m. He was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.

SHERIDAN - Shawn M. Derk, 33, of Buffalo was charged with first-offense DWI on Saturday following a traffic stop on West Sheridan Road around 1:18 a.m. No further information about the incident or his status was available.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

SALAMANCA - Timothy L. Harrison, 27, of 130 State Park Ave., Salamanca, was charged with first-degree rape, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and unlawfully dealing with a child Sunday after he allegedly locked himself and an underage female in a room and forced unwanted sexual contact, police said. Harrison was taken into custody, arraigned and held at the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.

SALAMANCA - Walter S. Taylor, no age given, of Salamanca was charged with felony DWI and felony unlicensed operation Saturday after a traffic stop on Swan Street for a traffic infraction around 2:29 a.m. He was taken into custody, arraigned and sent to the county jail.

SALAMANCA - Charles R. Fleurant, no age given, of Salamanca was charged with DWI and cited for failure to keep right Saturday after a traffic stop on State Park Avenue around 8:21 p.m.

SALAMANCA - Jennifer M. Vassar, 25, of Salamanca was charged with DWI and cited for failure to signal a turn Sunday morning after a traffic stop around 3:05 a.m. She was released with an appearance ticket and will be in court later.

PENNSYLVANIA LAW ENFORCEMENT

WARREN -Warren City police reported that a citation was filed Monday charging Kristin R. Miller, 19, of Kane, Pa., with issuing a bad check after a check she wrote on July 14 for $20.89 to the Shurfine store on Pennsylvania Avenue was returned "frozen locked account."

DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP - According to Warren-based state police, a 48-year-old man from Niles, Ohio, reported that a Wells Cargo 12-foot enclosed trailer was removed from his Althom Road property between noon on Aug. 15 and 10 p.m. Oct. 30. The trailer displayed an expired Ohio registration and contained a Craftsman 42-inch lawn tractor along with other tools, police said. According to police, the total loss is reported to be $1,350. Anyone with information is asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police at 814-728-3600 or Warren County Crime Stoppers at 800-83-CRIME.

GLADE TOWNSHIP - Warren-based state police reported that at 1 p.m. on Nov. 5 at the Warren Area High School, a verbal argument escalated to a physical contact and simple assault and harassment charges were filed at the Juvenile Probation Department against a 16-year-old Warren female.

MEAD TOWNSHIP - Warren-based state police responded to an accident at 5:50 a.m. Monday on Dorcon Road. According to police, a vehicle driven by Daniel M. Saeli, Warren, was traveling west on Dorcon Road when he lost control while passing another vehicle. Saeli's vehicle traveled across the eastbound lane, off the eastbound berm and rolled onto its drivers side and came to rest with the front end of the vehicle facing north, police said. According to police, Saeli was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. Police said the vehicle was towed from the scene. Clarendon volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.
