Michelle Lynn (Barmore) Bloom, 33, of 101 Elizabeth St., Lakewood, passed away Wednesday (November 4, 2009) in her home.
A lifelong area resident she was born March 5, 1976, in Jamestown, the daughter of Douglas A. Barmore and Colleen R. (Anderson) Carlson.
Michelle was a 1994 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School and had served in the U.S. Army. She had previously been employed by AT&T.
Michelle attended New Hope Community Church and enjoyed spending time with her children, husband and family. She also enjoyed decorating and remodeling, flowers and plants, pumpkins, playing softball and basketball, shopping, the holidays, the family farm, her pets and traveling.
Surviving are her husband David Michael Bloom, whom she married May 23, 1997, in Gerry, two sons: Tre' Christopher Bloom and Nicholas Allen Bloom, two daughters: Brianna Courtney Bloom and Kyia Lynn Bloom, her mother and step father, Colleen and Thomas Carlson of Falconer, her father and stepmother, Douglas and Kathleen Barmore of Gerry, four brothers: Douglas A. Barmore Jr. of Jacksonville, N.C., Bradley (Cheyenne) Ring of Mississippi, Derek (Jacqueleen) Ring of Gerry and Jeremy Barmore of Gerry; three sisters: Alexis Moriah Carlson and Skylar Brooke Carlson, both of Falconer, and Lorinda Quinn of Silver Creek, her maternal grandparents: Stanley and Noreen Anderson of Sinclairville, her paternal grandparents Verland and Janice Barmore of Forestville, her father-in-law, Terry Bloom of Falconer, her step father-in-law, John Liver-more of Randolph, brother-in-laws Brent Livermore of Randolph, T.J. Bloom of Jamestown, sister-in-laws Ashley (Pa-trick) Lund of Jamestown, Kaitlyn Livermore of Randolph and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Martha Sue Livermore, her uncles Glenn Anderson on September 16, 2008, and Russell Barmore on October 13, 2006.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Greg Streed, pastor of New Hope Community Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Gerry Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
