JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Joanna M. Deangelo, 25, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating an unregistered vehicle and going the wrong way on a one-way street Sunday. Police say an officer observed Ms. Deangelo turning on to West Fifth Street the wrong way. Officers stopped the vehicle and after an investigation found the driver to be intoxicated. Ms. Deangelo was transported to city jail without incident.

Ryan M. Thayer, 27, was charged for driving while intoxicated, speeding and passing through a red light Sunday. Police say Thayer was observed by police driving through a red light on Lakeview Avenue at Buffalo Street. He was stopped and an investigation led to the charges. Thayer was transported to city jail where he was booked and released. He will appear in court at a later date.

Thomas C. Caver, 45, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child Saturday. Police say officers responded to 101 Eagle St., to check on the welfare of several young children that may have been left home without adult supervision. Upon investigation, it was determined that two children, ages 10 and 11, were left alone for about seven hours. Caver, the father, was located a short time later and transported to city jail.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE

Gregory Renouf Martin, 41, of Pittsfield, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated and other traffic violations Friday. Police say Martin was stopped for a traffic violation when he was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Bryan K. Hart, of Tidioute, Pa., was charged with harassment after allegedly striking a female victim in the face Saturday.
