The village of Celoron recently replaced nearly 500 feet of sidewalk on East Lake Street in the village. The work was completed with the help of the village of Lakewood, with Celoron planning to assist on a Lakewood project later. The sidewalks that were replaced weren't faulty, but the project addressed another flooding problem at the corner of East Lake Street and Dunham Avenue.
