David and Alice Bennett of Jamestown, formerly of Randolph, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 17, 2009. They are the parents of Tim and Jim Bennett, Rachel Perez, Elizabeth Odach and the late Michael Bennett. They also have 12 grandchildren: Jaymie, Jessi, Jenna, Juliet, Josh and Jordan Bennett, Sarah and Josh Odach, and Laura, Caleb, Isaac and J.J. Perez.
They were married Oct. 17, 1959, in the First Baptist Church in Union City, Pa.
Bennett is retired from Bush Industries. Mrs. Bennett is retired from Quality Markets.
