Donald and Marion Gorman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 30, 2009, with a surprise dinner party in Greenhurst. The celebration was hosted by their three sons: David (Deborah) Gorman and Daniel (Kristine) Gorman of Fluvanna, N.Y., and Dale (Dee) Gorman of Magnolia, Texas. They have six grandchildren: Danielle Gorman of Fort Myers, Fla., David Gorman of Fluvanna, Kaitlin, Haley and Bryan Gorman of Fluvanna, and Blake Gorman of Magnolia, Texas.
Gorman and the former Marion Lesson were married Aug. 31, 1949, in Jamestown, N.Y.
Gorman is the former owner and operator of G's Bait and Tackle Store, Mrs. Gorman is retired from CVS.
