LITTLE VALLEY - The Memorial Library of Little Valley will hold its annual pie sale from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 25, in the lobby of the Cattaraugus County Bank, Main Street, Little Valley.
Part of the proceeds this year will be donated to the Gowanda Free Library, which sustained water damage from flash flooding in August.
In addition to buying pies, there are several ways to support the event. Pie donations will be accepted from local bakers. Pies may be delivered to the library on Thursday, Sept. 24, until 6 p.m., or directly to the bank on Friday, Sept. 25.
Bakers and kitchen helpers are welcome to join the pie-preparation event on Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Congregational Church, 301 Rock City St., Little Valley. Baking begins at 10 a.m. and continues until all ingredients are gone.
Another option is to donate money or ingredients to support the pie-preparation event. Ingredients needed include flour, sugar, nuts, fruit and prepared fillings.
For information, contact John Rembold at 938-6161, or the library at 938-6301.
