Ronald and Mary Myers of East Randolph, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 27, 2009, with an open house at the Randolph United Presbyterian Church. The celebration was hosted by their children: Bruce Myers of Jamestown, N.Y.; Bill Myers of Binghamton, N.Y.; David Myers of Randolph, N.Y.; and Karen (Charles) Russell of Frewsburg, N.Y.; and their grandchildren: Aaron Myers of Clearwater, Fla.; Corey Myers of Frewsburg, N.Y.; Colin Myers of Lakewood, N.Y.; and Allison and Heather Russell, both of Frewsburg, N.Y. Out of state guests attended from Pennsylvania, Colorado and California.

Myers and former Mary Lucille Hutto were married June 27, 1959, in Chula Vista Methodist Church in Chula Vista, Calif. The Rev. Francis Cook performed the ceremony.

Myers was a former bus driver for Randolph Central School. He is a member of the Randolph Masonic Lodge F&AM and the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club. Mrs. Myers is a former employee of the Cattaraugus County DMV. They also owned and operated Myers Oil Company of Randolph and the Montgomery Ward Catalog Store in Falconer. They are both members of the Randolph United Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star in Randolph.
