Robert H. and Anita T. Rolph of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Lutheran Retirement Home. The celebration was hosted by their daughters: Sheila (Jerome) Hammar of Hudson, Ohio; Barbara Rolph of Merritt Island, Fla.; and Patricia (Robert) Hall of Richmond, Va. They have seven grandchildren: David (Dolores) Bauders of Shaker Heights, Ohio; Christopher (Belinda) Bauders of Largo, Fla.; Stephanie (Harry) Drake of Chicago, Ill.; Judson and Joshua White of Merritt Island, Fla.; Kimberly Hall of Arlington, Va.; and Kevin Hall of Richmond, Va. They also have four great-grandchildren: Maximillian Bauders and Emily Kenville of Shaker Heights, Ohio; and Clayton and Brandon Lundy of Largo, Fla.

Rolph and the former Anita Thoren were married Aug. 5, 1944, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Jamestown. The Rev. Felix V. Hanson performed the ceremony.

Rolph is a Navy veteran of World War II and was a civilian employee at the Aircraft Overhaul and Repair Center at Lakehurst Naval Air Station in Lakehurst, N.J., and the Navy Aviation Supply Office in Philadelphia, Pa. Mrs. Rolph was employed by Dahlstrom Manufacturing, American Aviation and the former Jamestown Telephone Company.

Rolph is a 1939 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 1947 graduate of CalAero Technical Institute in Glendale, Calif. He is a member of the American Legion Post 149, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 53 and the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employee Chapter 267. Mrs. Rolph is a 1941 graduate of Jamestown High School. They are both active members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
