Roger and Virginia Vine of Jamestown, formerly of Drum, Pa., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner held in the Falconer American Legion Post 638, given by their children: Todd Vine of Sheppton, Pa.; and Terry and Pamela Vine, both of Buffalo. They also have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Guests attended from Pennsylvania.
Vine and the former Virginia Helen Carlson were married in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Aug. 15, 1959. The Rev. Earnest Anderson officiated.

Vine was employed by the former Firch and Stroehmann's Bakery Companies until retirement. Mrs. Vine was also employed by Firch Company and the Rossi Restaurant. They are members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club.
