POLAND - A pregnant woman from Sinclairville escaped disaster Friday following an accident on Poland Center Road, between Route 62 and Interstate 86.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputies say around 11:35 a.m., 33-year-old Kelly M. Mclane was driving south when she lost control of her Dodge Caravan on the slippery pavement.
The van slid off the road, damaging a fishing dock before coming to rest against a tree, facing the way she was driving, just feet from the icy waters of the Cassadaga Creek.
