Van Stamey, a leader in the salon products industry, will come to Jefferson Terrace Salon and Spa on Tuesday as part of an ongoing series of classes offered to the salon's cosmetologists.
Stamey will be in Jamestown from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to teach a class on product knowledge.
He is the CEO of ThermaFuse, a new, salon-exclusive line of beauty products. Each ThermaFuse product contains what Stamey calls his HeatSmart Complex, a ''revolutionary silicone and protein delivery system'' designed to protect and repair heat-styled hair.
''Mr. Stamey will be teaching our stylists about the different products in his line, what each product does, and how to use the products on people of different hair types,'' said Amy Hanson, the salon's owner. ''We are very, very excited about this. It's huge to have someone like Mr. Stamey come to Jamestown and to our salon.''
