LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Samantha C. Dininny, 29, of Lakewood was charged with third-degree assault and third-degree menacing Wednesday, following an alleged incident at her home. Police say around 4 a.m., a victim reported that his girlfriend, Dininny, threatened him with a pair of scissors, pushed him into a window causing it to break and hit him in the face with a block of wood. The victim was taken to the hospital by the Lakewood Fire Department and treated for injuries to his face and arm. Dininny was taken into custody, arraigned and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Madeline Rosado, 26, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny Thursday, following an incident at the Family Dollar store on West Third Street. Police say an employee saw Rosada allegedly put several pieces of merchandise in a large handbag and she allegedly attempted to leave the store. She was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
HANOVER - Kelly A. Worden, 19, of Sheridan was charged with third-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child on Jan. 16. Worden was processed and given an appearance ticket returnable in Hanover Town Court later.
ELLICOTT - Nathan A. Bowers, 27, of Cattaraugus was charged with DWI, refusal to take a breathalyzer, obstructed license plate and an exhaust violation Sunday, following a traffic stop. He was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.
ELLICOTT - Dale J. Warner, 27, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree grand larceny and offering a false instrument for filing Sunday. He was given an appearance ticket and will be in court later.
POMFRET - Clifton H. Lynch, 25, of South Dayton was charged with second-degree criminal personation and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Sunday. Lynch was given an appearance ticket returnable in Pomfret Court.
ELLICOTT - Jonathan A. Carlson, 19, of Cassadaga was charged with petit larceny Monday. He was given an appearance ticket and will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
David P. Gendron, 37, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, moving from lane unsafely and unlawful possession of marijuana Tuesday, following a traffic stop on Route 430. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket returnable in Jamestown City Court.
HANOVER - Miranda R. Layman, and Stephen M. Karanik, both 19 of Dunkirk, were charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree conspiracy, unlawful possession of a radio device and fourth-degree criminal mischief recently based on an incident which allegedly happened on Jan. 6. Layman and Karanik were taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.
NORTH HARMONY - Derrick Raynor, 25, of Bemus Point was charged with driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and failure to keep right, following a traffic stop on Jan. 15 on I-86. He was processed and given an appearance ticket returnable in North Harmony Town Court later.
SHERIDAN - William A. Falconne, 22, of Silver Creek was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child on Jan. 15. He was taken into custody, processed and released to appear in Sheridan court later.
ELLICOTT - C. Bruce Olson, 60, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated Wednesday, following a traffic stop on I-86 around 9:15 p.m. He was given an appearance ticket and will appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
CONEWANGO - Thomas P. Cruz, 20, of cherry Creek was charged with second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child on Jan. 16. Second-degree rape is an acquisition made which alleges someone 18 or older had sexual relations with someone 15-years-old or younger. Cruz was taken into custody, processed and released to appear in court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
MAYVILLE - Michele Compton, 35, of Mayville was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving an uninspected vehicle Wednesday, following a traffic stop in Mayville. She was given an appearance ticket and will be in court later.
SOUTHERN TIER REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE
DUNKIRK - Tony B. Bass, 45, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance Wednesday, following a six-month investigation. Task force officers allege that they bought cocaine from Bass several times during the investigation. He was taken into custody by Dunkirk Police and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail. The investigation is ongoing and other charges may be filed.
SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Brian M. Lux, 48, of West Valley was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and for having illegal window tint Thursday. He was given an appearance ticket and will be in court later.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE AT WARREN
PINEGROVE TOWNSHIP - Glenn E. Morse, 31, of Warren, Pa., was charged with driving under the influence Thursday, after he got his vehicle ina a snow bank on Brenda Lane. He will appear in court later.
