LITTLE VALLEY - Ella A. Williams, 80, of Route 242 in Little Valley, passed away Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at her home.
She was born Aug. 17, 2008, in Salamanca, N.Y., the daughter of the late Noel and Hattie Luce Evans.
She was married to Willi-am G. Williams on June 29, 1950 and was predeceased by him on July 28, 1968.
Mrs. Williams and her husband ran a dairy farm for many years. She was an ac-tive member and assistant leader of the Bucktooth Hill-billy 4-H Club for many years and was an avid gar-dener and caretaker. She shared her strength, courage, respect and hope with all who knew her. She also was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Cheryl Zollinger and Charlene (Gordon) Rohwer, both of Little Val-ley; two grandchildren: Melissa Zollinger and Michelle (Tim) Benson; two great-grandchildren: Logan and Bailey Benson; a sister, Fay (Gerald) Hilliman of Lit-tle Valley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St., Little Valley on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at 11 a.m. from the funeral home, with Pastor William McNeil, officiating.
Burial will be in Little Valley Rural Cemetery.
