If the summer months have you hitting the fast food joints more often, use these strategies to make sure your fast food isn't fat food.

First, stick to grilled chicken or fish, and skip the high fat mayo or tartar sauces.

Salads are usually a smart choice when you avoid high-fat toppings and dressings.

If you have to have a burger, a small burger with no cheese or mayo is not a bad choice. Order yours with extra lettuce and tomato.
