Now that children are out of school encourage them to stay on a meal schedule

instead of grazing all day.

When they do want to snack, try one of the following suggestions:

Raw veggies with low-fat dip

Fresh fruit

Frozen tube yogurt

A big glass of ice cold milk

Remember that smart snacking can be a valuable part of a healthful eating
