Tasker Will Speak At Links Charity

The newest member of the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame, Steve Tasker, will be the guest speaker at the Links Charity Pro-Am dinner at Moon Brook Country Club on Aug. 4 at 6 p.m.
Tickets for the dinner are $50 and are available by calling 487-1917.
Tasker, who played college football at Northwestern, played 13 seasons in he NFL for the Houston Oilers and Bills, who he represented seven times in the Pro Bowl and in 1993 he was named the most valuable player. He was the first special-teams player to play in seven Pro Bowls.
Tasker, had 204 career special teams tackles and seven blocked punts. He also averaged 10.1 yards per punt return and 21.1 for kick returns. He caught 51 passes for 779 yards and nine touchdowns.
In 2000, Tasker was named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's All-time Team.
Tasker currently does NFL color commentary for CBS.
The Links Charity Pro-Am will again involve 25 members of the LPGA teaming up with four amateurs to form 25 teams. They will tee off with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 4.
The LPGA members who are scheduled to participate are Jenny Gleason, Audra Brooks, Patty Jordan, M.B. Zimmerman, Denise Killean, Donna Wilkins, Kate Golden, Amy Read, Ann Obermeyer, Lee Ann Walker-Cooper, Lu Bemvenuti, Pam Wright, Janice Gibson, Mary Bryan, Nancy Capps, Sue Ginter, Nicole Jeray, LaRee Sugg, Brooke Tull, Carri Wood, Kristen Samp Laurel Kean, Michelle Dobek, Becky Iverson and Marianne Morris.
