May 14, 2008
The Post-Journal
On May 11, Scott Courson, 45, of Golden, Colo., left this world unexpectedly. Scott lived his life to the fullest enjoying snowmobiling, moto-x, motorcycle riding, snowboarding, cycling and any activity that would take him outdoors. Scott cherished his family and friends and will be remembered for his humor and devotion to those he leaves behind.

Scott is survived by Brenda, his loving wife of 20 years; his mother, Bonnie Courson; his father and mother–in-law, Frank and Marge Wheeler; his brothers, Sam and Steve; his sisters-in-law, Susan Freebery and Karen Brahler; and his nieces, nephews, and great nieces that he loved so dearly. Scott lived his life with integrity and compassion.

His humor and love for his friends and family were his greatest assets. He will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sheryl Lynn; his brother, Stan; and father, Ray.

Funeral services will be held at the Larson-Timko funeral Home on May 17. Calling hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. with a tribute to Scott immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cherry Creek Snogoers, P.O. Box 91, Dunkirk, NY, 14048 or the American Heart Association.
