NORTH GREENBUSH, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a 64-year-old upstate New York man has been killed in a two-vehicle crash just four days after his soon died in fire at the family's home.
Police in suburban North Greenbush tell the Times Union of Albany (http://bit.ly/1gHXgN6 ) that John Hover of Poestenkill was driving on Route 43 Thursday afternoon when his pickup truck veered into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle.'
Hover was taken to Albany Medical Center, where police say he died later Thursday. The other driver is in serious condition.
The crash happened four days after a fire at the Hover family home killed 29-year-old Devin Hover and injured his parents. Officials say he was found dead after Sunday night's blaze gutted the wood-framed house in the rural town 10 miles east of Albany.
