LILLIAN HORONY

She was born July 24, 1923, in Titusville to the late James Philo and Julia Elizabeth Clark More. She was an assistant editor for the Titusville Herald, an avid reader and loved writing poetry. A member of Linary Church of Christ, she was a homemaker and enjoyed watching birds and squirrels and working in her flower garden. She is survived by two sons, Alexander Horony and John Horony, both of Crossville, Tenn.; a stepson, Jim Horony, Thrall, Texas; two daughters, Rebecca Suppa, Youngsville, and Julie Crisp, Apopka, Fla.; a brother, Wyllis More, Centerville; a sister, Mary Klark, Warren; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Louis Horony; a sister, Margaret More; and a brother, Theodore More.

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 6 at the Linary Church of Christ with Brother Herbert Dean officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cumberland County. The Hood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
