He was a 1999 graduate of Jamestown High School and later graduated from BOCES of Ashville.
He was employed by Dawson Metal Company Inc., as a metal fabricator for three years. He earlier had worked for Kaczar Collision.
His devotion to his young daughter, Sierra Michelle Whitmore, knew no boundaries. She was the love of his life. His commitment to her was endless. He enjoyed camping with her at Darien Lake. He was a bright and caring young man with a wonderful sense of love, laughter and life. His presence has been silenced, but he will always live on in our hearts. He will also be remembered as an accomplished auto body technician.
Beside his parents and daughter, all of Jamestown, he is survived by two brothers, Brandon Whitmore of Jamestown and Brad Whitmore of Fort Myers, Fla.; and grandmothers Lucy Whitmore of Celoron and Elizabeth Kenny Baker of Sugar Grove.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Whitmore and Dale Troutman.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald V. Erickson, pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church, will officiate.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
