Thank you for your service, There is no "star" or any other "thing" that could ever replace that time you gave, so I can sit at my desk and have the freedom to thank you. I just wish the rest of these waterheads in our ungreatful country could see that as well. God bless.

I did a little Googling and found nothing about all WW II vets being awearded the Bronze Star. While all WW II vets are heroes, the Bronze Star is awarded for specific acts of heroism.

I believe recently all WWII vets were awarded the Bronze Star for merit. I don't see one in the box.
