Few Must Stop Ruling Many

October 19, 2013

To The Reader’s Forum: 100 years ago Woodrow Wilson signed the 1913 Federal Reserve Act. A few years later he wrote: “I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country....

MacKenzie, you are so misinformed on so many things. We most certainly could default as there is NO amendment that states we pay our debt first. Article One Section 8 states the Congress has the power to pay debts, not that it has to. If I missed something please tell me where to look. The government takes in enough money every month to keep the government running is just not true. The world economy collapsing right along with us is much more than an educated guess. World chaos would ensue if the Dollar defaulted, according to everyone but the far right conservatives on Fox News. MacKenzie, you must at least open up enough to let some logical knowledge in.

Mr or Mrs "disagree", I rest my case. You don't like me so you disagree, but facts are NOT opinions. I put it out there, but you're not man or woman enough to even educate yourself. BTW, answer my questions, it would be eye-opening to the rest of us.

John Boehner and Mitch McConnell have not said one thing personally attacking the democrats, they base their comments on policy differences. It was the Prez, Reid and democrats in general calling Republicans arsonists, terrorists, etc. If you disagree, show me, prove to me when and where Boehner, McConnell or even Cruz referred to their political opposition in this way. I'll look it up and apologize to you, if you can prove it.

I scrolled through and found numerous disagrees on posts that were facts - I even referenced some of the comments, so people did not have to take my word, they could go read these things themselves and make up their own minds. The truth is a scary thing to a whole lot of people.

You see, when Bush was President, I did not follow him blindly. I was and am very critical of many things he did that were bad for the country, including growing government and outrageous spending - however, he looks like a piker compared to this President.

We were NEVER going to default because there is an Amendment that states we pay our debt first. The government takes more than enough money every month to do this and to keep most of government running.

Why do you liberals think what this President and his policies are doing to this country is good for you and the country? And, why are all of you, from the President on down so hateful?

You are also entitled to continue calling 50s out on his "so-called" racial statements. But it appears he ignores you. As well he should, because he hasn't said anything "racial."

You are so wrong, monkey. I'm not the one being intolerant. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. It just so happens that you are usually wrong. Get over it.

Once upon a time a charge was investigated and there was a consensus among my fellow soldiers (black)that I was not racist, and hated everybody equally. They knew me. monkey doesn't.

This is comical. Nearly every topic you click on, monkeyboy is chasing 50s4ever, accusing him of bringing racism into the conversation. And his point is.......?

True, 50s4ever. They hate you because you are a conservative. The liberal trick is to accuse us of intolerance, yet they will not Tolerate anything about US.

Why do they claim the Fed is not a government entity when the chair is appointed, by the White House and controls our standard of wealth which is pretty much what holds us up in the world? Sounds like government to me.

We can kid ourselves, pretend it doesnt exist, blame party lines, but the fact remains we are losing control of our America. We have to get permission from local government to build a tree house, go to planning board for its basics, to the federal government seizing more and more of our rights, forcing government controlled insurance, which we all know whatever government controls fails, or costs too much to afford. Business's are going to part time help because of it. The government has borrowed from Soc security, though they never put in a penny, and they continue to strike down programs that assist handicap, elderly, or the ill. If you cant face the fact we have far too much government, and Mr O has not been for any Christian participation, just his muslum roots, then you have been watching too much bias news,.

Amazing. Frederick Douglass once spent about 20 min honest respectful exchange with his one time owner. Yet I am hated by people who have no inkling of who I am.

Perfect example, loneriderrr1, of the left-wing tirade. Between duck and his toilet bowl fritters and monkey with his constant dogging 50s about racism, do they really have anything of substance to say?

No, I'm not a birther. And unlike some others not a he/she. Like Obama's Grandmother that raised him I understand why she checked out rather than see him take the oath of office.

Ducky, keep on posting. You are such a colossal jewel of an example of liberalism, that you educate others on just what a liberal is. Your "tea bagger" reference, aside from being a hateful, derogatory term, is also a useful example of Alinsky tactics. (for those who are unfamiliar, Saul Alinsky wrote a book, "Rules for Radicals", in it is a set of ideas and principles for community organizers, like Obama, to help them push their agenda of "equality". Liberals like Obama and Ducky subscribe to Alinsky's ideas.) Some of the Alinsky tactics, which the President and liberals use artfully, are: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it; another, Ridicule is man's most potent weapon.

Libs like Ducky, are full of hate and rage, which is evident by the language they use to attack others who do not believe the way they do. Thanks, Ducky, for this opportunity to use your post to reveal who libs truly are.

If the president gives us government healthcare, takes away the 2nd amendment, destroys the DOMA, raises the debt ceiling, wants more people to be on food stamps, supports the muslim brotherhood, taps phone lines etc, is that man good enough to run our country?
