Casinos are now saturated across the country it seems. If there are any states that have staved off this insane temptation towards casino revenue, they will be standing on top in the long run.

Some states have legalized gambling with the understanding it would add revenue to the state coffers. However, to many of those states have seen a net loss due to the programs created to treat gambling addiction and the added costs to their respective HHS budgets as a result of dealing with the families destroyed by the gambling losses.

I have no particular gripe with people who want to gamble.Having said that... the new casinos are not going to help us any more than another big box store. wtf

Casinos produce nothing. Once you have taken the entire life savings of the people who are gambling addicts, where are you going to find new money? We should be spending this kind of effort on attracting manufacturing jobs.
