So they closed the school to save money and spent the money on supplies to fill the former school to justify a warehouse. Brilliant.

I would be very unhappy to have that or any warehouse in my residential neighborhood. Would the tax paying residents have invested in this lovely area if they knew a warehouse was going to be in the middle of it?

Except that part of the reason the school was closed was monetary. If you don't have it, you can't spend it!!! As for a sale, God only made so much land. Until things fully settle, it makes no sense to sell the Rogers building. Look past the end of your nose, madman. Short-term parochial thinking got our mall located in Lakewood instead of Jamestown. To me, this is logical and wise. And that is exactly why this post will get flamed!!!

Thats a very expensive "warehouse". Was there no possibilty of selling the building? Or possibly setting up another type Boces where students can learn skilled trades or something other than use as a warehouse?
