July 25, 2013

To The Reader’s Forum: This is a response to the Letter to the Editor from Tom Krasinski printed on July 10 in which he claimed that the now unconstitutional Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) was......

And your proof for any of these claims is what? Or is this probably your opinion.

" And your proof for any of these claims is what? Or is this probably your opinion."

Only took one comment - I was actually going to make a preeminent joke about conspiracy nuts. The writer cited the CBO. Oh wait...you don't believe any stats that go against your agenda.

There's an article from Time News Feed, that states the 259 Million in NYC.

THis was Greg Rabb's idea for making Chaut Co a destination for gay marriages. With people spending ten's of thousands a dollars on weddings, it could be a nice economic boost anywhere.

On my way back from NYC as we speak. Asking my customer where the restroom was he pointed the direction. Historically laughing he commented don't be alarmed if you see a pair of high heels in one of the stalls. We hired it last week shaking his head and laughing. He explained it got the crap beat out of him on the way home in the first week. NYC seems to have the small town mantity as some believe some folks in Jamestown have. Lol

Seadog, "most gays that are married, don't have children". Is this your opinion or do you have statistics proving this to be true ??

Aren't you not suppose to have kids at the time you get married? Isn't that suppose to come after? I don't really have an opinion (do what you want to do) but I know others do. What does having kids have to do with spending money on a wedding?

According to the US Census Bureau, over 25% of all same sex households reported having children in the household-2011.

Here's a question. Why is everyone so insistent on requiring comments to be backed up by facts? After all, this is the OPINION section! No one here is writing a peer reviewed article on the matter. This is just a forum to comment your opinion based on someone else's.

For all those interested, 50% of the posts here dealt with posting statistics or inquiring about them. Just thought I should back up my opinion with "facts".

Maddog,

Its nice to have facts to back up your opinion. It shows how you developed that opinion, especially if you are arguing something. WIthout them your argument is your opinion only, which you are entitled to but can't be taking seriously in the argument youre engaged in.

Actually Seadog, that would still be incorrect. It is 25% of ALL same sex households...not just those in which marriage has occurred. I have not found those numbers yet.

"We hired it last week shaking his head and laughing. He explained it got the crap beat out of him on the way home in the first week."

How disgusting! Dehumanizing someone like that, calling them, "it" is truly reprehensible and then laughing about them being criminally assaulted adds egregious insult to their injury. To top things off, why was that person going to the men's room anyway? Were they being forced to by their employer? That would be a violation of NYC law. Shame on them!

I also wonder what in the Deity's name, this horrendously abusive and hateful posting had to do with Mr Reeder's letter?

This kind of animosity and hate should be condemned by everyone.

For all those whose active thought processes end at the mere mention of same sex couples, let's look at some common sense. Weddings are big parties. Sometimes they are very big. Putting on a party costs money, money that is usually spent in local shops in order to buy perishable items: food, flowers, beverages, etc. ANY increase in the number of wedding ANYWHERE will increase sales and business tax revenues for the local governments, along with increasing the sales of the local suppliers.

It just requires a modicum of rational thought to come to this conclusion. Why is it so difficult for some people to realize this?

Not too lazy to inundate this forum with trash though. We know that much. FedUP is the same way. They create nonsense and hope that people are as lazy as they are. It's fun calling them out because they *poof!* onto the next one.

If you haven't noticed, Scallywag's whole purpose on here is to attempt to create false relations with the articles. He had to stretch that one - pretending that he actually gets out of the house, continuing to pretend he owns a business...not to mention the pointlessness of the whole thing. In the near future, run a test on that. Every article that Scallywag contributes to you'll find him making an analogy to a fictional business.

Irony you make me laugh. If only you knew. By the way that's multiple enterprises. Perhaps you and a few others should reread my post. Those weren't my words I was mearly telling what I was told. It Might come as a shocker but most people find transgender folks a bit twisted and disturbing

Irony is owning a business that much of an infatuation for you. It's my life and been my whole life my whole life. Going through life envious of others is no way to go through life.

No, Scallywag, your excuse is unacceptable. You wrote that post, not your "friend." You thought it was worth repeating, no one else.

I don't care if trans people make you uncomfortable. I don't care if you think they are icky but when you choose to write such abusively dehumanizing trash about another human being you have stepped over the line of simple common decency.

Trans people are human beings, more like you than they are different, and they deserve the same respect and dignity that you expect others to give you.

Emely you are unexceptable to me. It's ok for you to have your point but my opinion is unacceptable. Perfect example of the left. Try this. Don't make a skeptical of yourself and your personal demons will go away. Example. I'd love to have down right dirty sex. Ya know pig sex with my neighbors wife. She's smoking hot. I don't act on my impulses or would even consider such a thing because it's wrong. Not just wrong socially but unacceptable morally. Stop making a fool of yourself and so will others

I say your excuse is unacceptable, you say =I+= am unacceptable to you. I criticize your excuse, you go after me personally. Apparently my existence offends you. Tough.

Your post is nearly unreadable but I think you are telling me not to make a "spectacle" of myself so my demons can be defeated? Your ignorance, combined with your willingness to publicly illustrate it, is mind boggling! Get a clue before you make a bigger fool of yourself.

Your write, "I'd love to have down right dirty sex. Ya know pig sex with my neighbors wife. She's smoking hot." So you compare your immoral desire to violate your marriage vows to being transsexual? What moral tenets do transsexual people violate when they affirm their true selves? Your comparison is cr*p.

Your vile prejudice and animosity is on plain view here, scallywag. That's why I haven't reported your disgusting posts, so people can see what kind of mind and attitudes you hold.
