Betsy Wright has no clue whats going on at the hospital. Workers dont show up for work, they take extra long lunch breaks. She needs to make her mid managers accoutable to their people and cut waste.

I think Betsy Wright should take a pay cut. That alone would help WCA "thrive." She makes more than Obama and has a house and car paid for.

"We provide care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we're vital to our community," Wright said.

Proofread PJ, you mistyped "VIRAL."

Every know a doctor that goes bankrupt? Or insurance companies for that matter. They want profit and more profit. Look at how your insurance rates have climbed. When gvt. attempts to cap it, everyone screams "Obamacare." Does anyone ask why all the rates go up or do they care? Just saying.

Hospitals AREN'T businesses. Their function isn't to profit. Poor them if money is more important than treating patients, which sadly it is.

Askwhy, you are right. In fact the insurance companies are paying more than medicaid/medicare. My doctor tells me that he can not accept any more medicaid/medicare patients because the gov pays so little.

Get use to obamacare. Businesses don't like it, hospitals dont like it, unions are speaking out against it, most Americans want it changed, its causing businesses into part time workforces, only the diehard blind still hang on to this affordable care act, what a joke.

Jul-23-13 9:30 AM really have now idea what you are talking about. No doctors or hospitals or any providers make deals to take lower payments from Insurance companies. It is a "take it or leave it offer" from CMS, medicaid and insurance companies. There is no negotiation. Like negotiating with the IRS? Get a clue you ignoramus.

Bety Wright need not talk about low payments from medicare payments. If it is so low then why do hospitals make deal with insurance companies and agree to payments that are five per cent or more lower than the medicare rate? Before you have a operation check the cost and check other area hospitals and see if other hospitals are more qualified and cheaper. Betsy Wright is only interested in money money money.
