Two schools in Niagara County will share school superintendents in the coming school year....

And while these two districts are saving $60,000 by sharing a super much more is added to the tax rolls by people fed up with NY and leaving the districts. A good idea to try but it's way too late to save this state.

Anytime something can be tried that will end up with savings, it's a good thing to at least try it. Ever decreasing enrollments, increasing cost of plant, transportation, salaries & benefits expenses all increase the burden on both local and state taxpayers. Local taxpayers pay twice; once directly to the school district and once to the State, where the tax dollars are laundered through the state budget and the remaining sent back to the local school. districts.
