how does the district expect Mr. Lictus to run both schools, the only way he will be able to do that is if he has really good administrative assistants in both districts. we all know they are really the ones doing the job

So Mr. Lictus who was the number two man during the whole missing report debacle that cost PCS close to 5 million dollars is going to be rewarded with a promotion and additional responsibility? I thought we were suppose to be teaching our children that hard work and accomplishment paid off.

If the choose to share a superintendent then they should merge under on roof and get it over with.

Panama cant even handle their own school and you want them to be in charge of a second one.

I think that sharing a superintendent would be the first step to merging the two districts. If that is what the boards are really looking at in the future, I wish that they would be straight forward about it. I believe that while there may be a cost savings in merging the two districts, the students would not gain much if anything in respect to cources offered. Panama should be looking to Southwestern or Chautauqua Lake if a merger is what they are looking for. They should not be looking to share a superintendent as a temporary solution to a long term financial problem of a small district with declining enrollment.
