We now have common thugs in power. This had better change before we become entrenched forever. It's amazing that so many look the other way just to gain entitlements and benefits that keep them in a circle of poverty and dependency forever.

On second thought, I should be a bit serious.

This commentary is a mish mash of whines and complaints. He mentions 501(c)3s, which are chartered as full-blown charties. There is zero tolerance for politics there, so no whining. On the 501(c)4s, there should be a reversal of the "minimal politics" rule, and simply disallow all political activity by these organizations. If you want to do politics, you should apply to be a 527.

BTW, that's the way the autorizing laws are written. Why they morphed to include politics under 501(c)4 is bizarre. It happened under the Eisenhower administration, so the people involved are undoubtdly deceased.
