I'm writing to congratulate the JCC baseball team on a great season. Even though they missed out on a playoff spot on the last day, I believe they far-exceeded most people's expectations this year. Coaches Dick Adams and BJ Salerno did an outstanding job with the team, coming in to the program just before the fall season began and putting together a competitive group with little time to prepare. The players are a wonderful group of young men whom I got to know over the course of the season and I wish the graduating sophomores all of the best in their futures which, I hope, will include continuing to play baseball. As a fan of the team, next season can't come soon enough!
