khulumzurug your are showing your ignorance, the article clearly states that NRG is converting to Natural Gas from Coal. Do your homework, Gas is by far alot cleaner than burning coal.

Every year thousands of property owners invest in their properties and businesses around the lake and they need north county voters to support the lakes cleanup and management.

Ok, but then north county must support a $500 million cleanup of Chautauqua Lake! The lake brings in much more tax revenue than the NRG plant, and is a clean industry.
