Notice how the ex-con said he did something stupid and "got caught"! No remorse, no guilt just "I got caught". So, he gets a job and an honest hardworking individual is passed by? And we are happy? These guys are repeat offenders. I have had enough of bad behavior always being rewarded.

I would be afraid to work at a company that was hiring ex-cons, even those with a non-violent criminal record. You really never know. Look at Davide Coggins -out of jail for a only a month after a 5-yr stint. His former crimes weren't violent and look what he did to his employer/relative!

If there were qualified people for those positions, they wouldn't be empty! Lucky you can't be jailed for ignorance. So people should be punished for the rest of their lives? You would rather they be on welfare than work? Sigh.
