What article are you all reading? What part of Nate Shinagawa being Robertson's campaign chair means she is not a Democrat? Besides, this just proves you all vote on party line and party line only if you have to know the political affiliation right off the bat! Tom Reed did go to Washington and the first thing he did was side with special interests and played partisan games. We need someone fresh in Washington that will fight for us and not special interests!

She also supports cuomo and his disastrous safe act. If she supports that kind of governing - beware.

If you read the article in today's Observer about her visit to Dunkirk, you'll see that she claims that the vast majority of people making minimum wage are adult women raising children. That is absolutely false! The vast majority are part time youth. High school and college-age part time workers. Unfortunately, every time minimum wage goes up, the teen unemployment rate goes up also.

It's obvious she's been in public service her whole life because she doesn't understand the private sector and she has chosen to make up her own "facts."

I agree Carlaw. As I was reading the article, the fact that her political party affiliation was not mentioned seems like very poor reporting by the media. It is also obvious that this omission was deliberate. Guess she thinks that by requesting that the media not report that she is a Democrat - oops, I said it - that we hayseed, hicks here in Chautauqua county won't notice and that we will vote for her once she masters the democrat talking points and says everything she thinks we want to hear. Nice try.

This candidate is ashamed of her political party or she would have mentioned it. All we know is that her Campaign Chair is a Democrat who lost the last election. This is deception from the very start. Sad.
