Good for you Mr Reed, many of us feel exactly the same way on the issue of Obama Care. Nothing the government ever does seems successful, and just adds more tax to an already over taxed society.

So Reed's solution is to go back to double digit-premium increases, exclusion of pre-existing conditions, and bankruptcy for all but the wealthiest who get sick?

Iam for Reed, the President should not force people to get insurance, the reason allot of people don't have it is because they don't have the money after they pay rent food and , utilities, everyone wants health Insurance but not everyone can afford it nor most make a couple $$ to much for medicaid. ya cant win

Just Tuesday Reed was on a pedestal with his "NO Labels" group of 50. And now this - a 100% turnaround (of which his party was advocating for in 1994!) Also, lies, lies lies! New York State's economy has added 29,600 jobs in January, breaking a record with 17 consecutive months of private sector jobs added!! Yet he states "The fact is, job growth is not improving." LIES! And what he wants to cut is the program to find waste in the system. This is just unbelievable. I don't know how anyone can fall for this nonsense. Mcjensen, yes you can win - there is a provision if you fall into the group you are in that you will receive help so you can get insurance. This entire article is ludicrous.

Howard, the jobs you talk about are certainly not in this area of the state. Nor are they in nearby PA. Just picked up the Erie paper yesterday and if you don't count the 8 ads looking for people to deliver newspapers, there were only 6 ads for help wanted. That's right 6! Pick up the PJ and look and you'll see it's about the same.

Come on Reed. What do you want for the people? To the others, What do you want for the people?

Is it perfect? Absolutly Not!, but it is a start and Reed needs to accept that and help move it forward.

Frankly, I would put the freaking insurance companies out of business and pay healthcare providers directly. Although it would be nice to chop at the high salaries at the top, it would hurt many day to day staff.

Ever since the Affordable Care Act went into law, all big business did was laid people off and never stopped since. First off," Obama Care " is an ignorant . It is the Affordable Care Act. All you right wing Republican Nazi folks hate change, especially if it does not benefit the wealthy. You want class warfare, you got it. The way i see it, class warfare started the day this became law. Yes, people are on welfare, and free free free everything else and you know what. Good ! The so called job creators are painted into a corner finally. Stop under paying people, making your crap in China, cheating on your own taxes with loopholes and off shore investments, and all other sorts of Nazi ways of keeping the lower class and poor down and opportunity at a minimum. You got your class warfare, and until they realize that they can't have their cake and eat it too i have no problems with many more millions of people receiving handouts, and free free free everything.Bring the CONT..

manufacturing BACK to America, stop investing OVERSEAS, stop hiring illegals to do your lawn and gardening, QUIT using temp to hire as a way of keeping people down and letting them go instead of hiring them for a REAL job with REAL pay REAL benefits. PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS..OR don't cry that nobody wants to work because guess what ? NOW YOU ARE PAYING FOR THEM TO DO NOTHING AND ITS NOT A BAD LIVING. There is no shame in this war. You shot the first bullet after Affordable Care Act passed and now we are taking it out off your ASS regardless. At least Obama is, dame right he is taking it away from the the rich and giving it to most of the rest and rightfully so, BRING YOUR **** BACK TO CHINA AND WE CAN TALK !

Excuse me, BRING YOUR CAPITAL BACK TO AMERICA AND FROM CHINA, THEN WE CAN TALK. Hardball is hardball folks. Look at Apple incorporated. The Nazi of all companies. The largest valued tech company in America and all they basically are is headquartered here. What a shame !!! SHAME ON YOU APPLE. While the Chinese teens jump and leap to their deaths because they have to make all the " i " WHATEVER CRAP for a paycheck that pays basically nothing and then they see it sell for hundreds of dollars here is sickening. Jesus would flip that table over too if he walked into an Apple Temple. Give Americans a little dignity will you ? You know we are capable of making stuff corporate american. You make me want to puke you fools.

More scare tactics: The IPAB is "the unelected group of bureaucrats that are not charged to hold any of their deliberations in public." Sounds scary! Since when have we ever gone to a voting booth to elect advisory boards! Use the word 'bureaucrat' to make it sound even scarier! When have you ever seen an advisory board on CSPAN? Just ridiculous. CharlesK, you have to bring up Pa. to make a point? When has there ever been an overabundance of decent jobs here in Chautauqua county? When Cummings is hiring? Reed is trying to appease both sides in this article. He has no guts to go 100% in either direction so later he can point out specific arguments depending on who he is talking in front of. This is so obvious. You need to read this article with no bias.
