Funky oh what a tangled web we weave. Yes we will always pay for the ignorance of others. Honestly I think it's the mothers choice. She better make the proper one because she messed up her first choice. Irresponsibility is just ok with you liberals isn't it

Still waiting for answers, what if the father wants the baby to remain alive? Has he no rights? He is certainly held responsible if the mother "chooses" to keep the child. Well folks? You can't have it both ways.

Credence, those were not MY words. I copied and pasted from an earlier post, with which I agreed. I fully agree with YOU. It is not an option. All WILL face their maker one day and answer for their folly or wisdom.

Funky monkey why do you think it is society's responsibility to raise deadbeats mistakes. You sure are a poster child for the liberals. Your mistakes and irresponsable behavior is not my problem. I don't know you. I don't want to know you. Your views repulse me. Take care of your own messed up life and leave me and the rest of the world out of it. Because your a looser doesn't mean I have to clean up your mess

I'm surprised this author didn't mention anything about "reproductive justice," because that's another phrase thrown around a lot in the abortion debate.

gio, i don't know but i suppose the author isn't disputing the current legal status of abortion, but probably referring to a real moral right as opposed to a legal fiction. for example, over one hundred years ago the supreme court ruled that black people had no right to freedom, but even though we know now that was wrong, it was the law then. I suppose the same could be said of abortion, while it's a legal right, it's not a legitimate right, in the moral sense. do you really think that the supreme court has the final word on what is moral? do you really think it can make something morally right, even if it isn't really? i doubt it.

the author feels strongly that "Abortion Isn't A Right." However, he is mistaken, abortion is currently every woman's right.

Yes, the Supreme Court is the organization in the U.S. that defines what is and isn't murder when there is disagreement. That's exactly what it's for. It the court always right? No, but often short of a constitution amendment there is nothing that can be done except try to influence. It's very hard to get around a Supreme Court decision.

Phd writes "...Hopefully someday the lovers of the lies will wake-up and see The Creator face to face. "Every knee shall bow, every tongue will confess, Jesus Christ is LORD." PHD..PLEASE note; There is no "HOPEFULLY" EVERY KNEE SHALL bow down. Then they will hear either 1) "Enter in" or 2) "Depart from me..." based upon whether or not they were born again in this life (John 3:3 eg)

"Mar-21-13 9:35 AM "name 1 form of birth control that is 100% effective" I name two: tubal ligation and vasectomy! BE RESPONSIBLE!!" If we are talking about permanent birth control, let me offer others. Castration, lobotomy, death, or lets just super glue the holes shut.

Ok. I've gone through enough comments, trying to play catch-up. I believe that everyone, in their heart-of-hearts KNOWS that we're talking about unborn human beings. Calling it a zygote or embryo is simply naming a stage of development. The "pro-choice" folks KNOW this, too, but it is too painful for them to admit it. Murder is murder. They have developed excuses to protect their psyches from the pain of reality. They close their eyes and plug their ears, but they are still cognizant of the cries of the innocent. They're too selfish or too cowardly to publicly admit what they REALLY feel. Yet, after reading this, they'll still hear those cries. Their denial will also prove them liars.

Mar-21-13 11:24 AM Pastor Jeff, keep up the good work, regardless of what the "followers of this world" have to say. Pray for them. You and I know the TRUTH. Hopefully someday the lovers of the lies will wake-up and see The Creator face to face. "Every knee shall bow, every tongue will confess, Jesus Christ is LORD." The Holy Bible Romans 14:11. Praise God, love people and fight the good fight! I AGREE WITH THIS 100%!!!! VERY WELL SAID!

Mar-21-13 8:59 AM "The bottom line is whether you think it is right or wrong, its is not up to you. It is, and should remain solely up to the mother and father" What if the FATHER chooses that the child be born? Does HE not also have a right to CHOOSE? He is 50% responsible for the creation. If born, you can bet HE would be held responsible to SUPPORT that child. He has no right, you say? Hypocrites!

Mar-21-13 8:07 AM "Why don't some of these religious organization take some of these unwanted children and take care of them." That would free-up the IRRESPONSIBLE kids who are playing grown-ups to create MORE children to MURDER. If you want to engage in 5ex, take measures to prevent pregnancy. If you fail to do so and a human baby is created, be responsible and take care of that which YOU have created. Grow up. Don't MURDER, and don't try to pawn off responsibility on someone else, religious or otherwise.

Mar-21-13 7:46 AM "because as a male, I have no right to tell a female what to do with her own body." That means that if she chooses, she can ingest any type of drug that she chooses, she can openly engage in prostitution, she can commit suicide without interference, she can sell any of her organs that she chooses. It's HER body! Leave her alone? No limits, or pick and choose? Hypocrites!
