Note who is against selling the county home and vote them out of office. I cannot imagine Goodell running anything. Totally incapable in solving problems. I hope a group of Republicans dump him and no longer support him.

The five stars for staff only means that there is a lot of staff. The number of staff is high, not the care based on the other two one star ratings. Read the report. Just having staff and paying them high wages does not mean high quality care. Time for a change

excellent point charlesk. Edward's crew also neglected to have a vote to make the decision to sell the home before he began pushing his choice of purchaser.

Then there us the fact that with his appointees running the home, it is losing more money every day. There was a time it made a Profit. Why can't it make a profit with Edward's cronies running it?

Go for Absolute's offer.

CharlesK and L Cornell are drinking the same potion. There are measuring tools for all types of institutions/processes, like Bond/stocks, ect ect.... All adult care facilities are rated with the same parameters. This is nothing but a cop out ! Sell the joint !

Why on earth does everyone ignore the other offer on the table? Absolute's offer sits there. Take them up on it. The fact that's it's a lease over a period of years is fine and it gives us time to continue to work out something permanent rather than being stuck where we are now.

Thanks to Lori Cornell there are always questions to surveys and ratings. A look at the bigger picture is needed.

Some of you people must have read another article. There was agreement that the star rating system is potentially flawed. Personally I've felt that far too much weight has been given to it. And as far as Cornell voting no vs. abstaining from voting, it has the same inpact on the outcome - it still needs the required number of yes votes.

Wouldn't surprise me if Cornell's grandma gets discounts for Cornell being in union pockets,? she should have known it was conflict of interest and stepped down from any vote, shows her disregard of ethics.

I guess the current ratings scores shoots the idea that the county home is the BEST nursing home in the county. Kinda makes two years of arguing and bribing mute. Maybe now we can sell the****thing

I've observed Lori Cornell's tenure in the County assembly, though about it long and hard, and I've come back with a rating of one * out of *****.

And her performance I don't blame on the county executive.
