Your disagreement with facts does not change them, nor do the opinions of the people you have spoken to.

Budzilla...I'll play your game. While your term "defective offspring" may be correct (though not politically correct), it is highly offensive, especially while doing so in a letter to the editor about special needs children. Of the 20 or so people that I have talked to in the past few days there hasn't been one person who hasn't agreed with me. A better term for you online would be a troll, though I suspect that IRL you may be bully.

MTinNY: My correct use of the term defective and you getting your panties in a bunch over it is not bullying.
I suggest you now and read and attempt to comprehend the correct meaning of "bullying".

yea look at that guy in the white house he is the biggest bully. When he don't get his way he uses taxpayer money to travel around the country to coerce everyone to see it his way

Your right piity bullying wasn't as much of a problem because either the bully got clocked by other students, sometimes a teacher would try to fix or the parents stepped in. But back then we didn't have a bunch of namby pambys in gov or the aclu telling everyone how bad it was to discipline children. Parents actually took responsibility and made their kids do the same. Not like it has become in this society now.

Actually see dog, bullying was not as serious a problem in my early school days, or at least it didn't appear to be. The isolated cases I was aware of, were handled in a swift and just manner.

In your case giopitt, I can understand why you were bullied.

sorry see dog, I forgot that the term "school officials" is close to your financial heart. Let's blame parents only.

how can school officials not recognize most of those bullying problems? How can parents not---------

Budzilla....I think YOU are exactly the person who needs to read it! You commented in the special needs post (the one about the Fletcher school children if your memory needs refreshed) calling them "defective". Is that not bulling? Yet you come on here and state that those who need to read it will never do so. Pot meet kettle.

Sorry Carolyn, because of the liberal fools in USA it is against the law to teach the truth. (rubbish only, is now allowed)

Now if only many of the regular Forum posters would follow this rule....

Good letter & there may be no more better a rule to live by, it's a universal aspect to all major religions and to common sense. Somehow this rule should be heavily communicated & reinforced in schools, it could have quite an impact.
