Josh Volk had a perfect game and an 800 series as well to lead the area bowling scoreboard Thursday night. Volk began by dropping 12 straight strikes for a 300 in the opener....

Bowling has lost its place as a legitimate sport. It used to be hard to have a 600 series, now the technology has outpaced the sport. I gave up bowling many years ago and I haven't missed it at all.

Seriously.....I've never seen that many games in the high 250's and above. Were they using the bumpers?
