I think we need to stick to the advantages to the patients, the employees and the taxpayers of the chautauqua county home if sold to Wm Rothner. I have Yahooed his homes which were rated by independant sources as to the overall quality in regards to their patients. He has been rated 4 stars, I have checked with the Better business folks and received a A++ rating without any complaints. Our county home is rated a one star which is the lowest quality rating that a home can receive. Those are the facts. I would not my Mom to be in a one star facility and anyone who would, shame on you...

The voters of chautauqua county will have their way, the home will be sold sooner or later, the union knows that and has become so desperate that they are attacking anyone who opposes their income source.

What the employees need to understand is they get an immediate substantial increase of pay when they are free of union dues forced upon them by their union goons.

Sorry Sammie, you have been exposed.

Sue, I have read your posts, which everyone can do, and you have stuck to the subject and as everyone can see, certainly not hateful. Sammie, is the one who is attacking you and you have responded to his attacks, the PJ will take notice, he is skating on thin ice, not adding to the county home debate but trying to silence you. That lowers the quality of our forum. Everyone keep commenting on the county home debate weather you are against or for the sale of the county home and dont allow anyone to silence you.

Its a real shame that we cant improve the county home which is currently a pitiful one star, selling to wm rothner would increase it to a four star home like the rest of his homes, the additional property taxes would are desperately needed in order to minimize lay offs in the dunkirk schools helping the kids of the area, the additional services that will be added to the county home will help the patients and increase business for the county home which means more business for local businesses, the additional revenue for the county from the sale will help every county taxpayer, the additional services means more jobs at the county home, its a win, win for every one, except the union goons. GET OVER IT.

Whitney is a real winner, a wonderful example for all of us, who could vote for this guy?

Mr. Whitney still has not paid his property taxes for two years.

These homes are rated for their quality of care and the county home is rated the lowest possible rating at only1 star.

Visit any nursing home (public or private) and it, most likely, break your heart. My mom was at a home in the Greenhurst area the last 6 mos of her life... They did their best but it was still awful. (among other things the stench of urine everywhere was over powering.) I would, in a heartbeat, put a bullet in my head before I would go to one. My hunch is that the County home is no better or worse than private homes... but why should we be on the hook for this nonsense?

There is no reason that the taxpayers should be funding this drain on our resources. This home should be sold, cornell, whitney and hoyer are spitting in our face with their agenda. cornell with her lies is not fit for public office, whitney (a union goon) is in it for the union and hoyer is just plain nuts.

The other homes in the county are rated higher and are privately owned. Those who voted for keeping the patients captive in a pitiful one star quality home in order to fulfill their personal agenda are sick.

Lori Cornell still hasn't gotten over her husband getting beat by Edwards. She tries to drag him in even though Nazzaro explained the losses.Bye Bye Lori and Chuck Cornell maybe Chuckie Schummer can get you guys a cushion job in Albany where both of you would fit in perfectly!

What good is Bob Duff? He comes, votes and leaves these meetings. How is he representing his district? And Hoyer, this guy would vote no if you wanted to give him a million $. Ditto Whitney. Thanks for raising my taxes.

due to mental retardation there is good news and bad news: GOOD: the home will be sold (it is now inevitable as it has been for about a year now) BAD: the home will not be sold until at least two out of the three miscreants are voted out of office..hmm

Watch the video which clearly show Ms. Cornell has no clue. Mr. Nazzaro clearly explainfd that the home LOSES over $8000 per day. Those are the home's figures not the County Execs. Ms Cornell can't get revenues vs expense through her head and needs to take a basic accounting class!

Cornell, hoyer and whitney must be voted out of office. The nov election will be about selling the county home.
