I'm not sure how a park such as this will be vital to economic development. Ideally, we would see this money serve as a catalyst for the development of a unique cluster of businesses which are similar or create a vertical offering which will attract people and expand. Creating local amenities is not the way to expand economic strengths of our local community.

Instead of whining, perhaps that $36,000 would have been better spent on actually starting to build that walkway!
